History Channel announced Tuesday it will air two new episodes of the History Channel History Channel schedule in 2021.
In the November 4 episode of History Channel World History, History Channel producer John Sutter says he will present the first official documentary about the U.S. Civil War in the U;s history.
Sutter will also present the documentary in English and Spanish.
The premiere will air on November 9 at 10 p.m.
ET.
Suter also said that a new documentary will premiere in 2021, featuring an oral history of the civil rights movement in the United States.
In that documentary, filmmaker Richard Griffin will be the first to tell the full story of the Black Panther Party in the 1960s, according to a release from Sutter.
The History Channel is also bringing back a special edition of the popular History Channel series, The History Channel Special: American History in 60 Minutes.
Sutter will present this special edition with host Mike Wallace, which will air in 2018.
In addition to new episodes, Sutter said that the History channel is adding a new History Channel special to the schedule.
In 2018, the History and World History Channel will present a special version of the series that will also feature historical events.
