Chinese holiday celebrating the day of love is being celebrated in a different way than in Europe.
A Chinese social media platform is urging its followers to use the holiday to raise money for charity.
Valentine Day, or the “spring” holiday, is a Chinese holiday that is traditionally celebrated with fireworks, but has been celebrated in different ways around the world.
Chinese social media site Weibo has launched a campaign to encourage Chinese citizens to donate to a charity on the holiday.
Weibo posted a video showing a group of Chinese men who are raising money for a charity.
In a caption, the group said the “greatest gift” was to help children who are “brave, courageous, and brave for love.”
“In order to get more children to love love, the greatest gift to our country is to raise funds for charity,” the caption said.
Weibo users were encouraged to share the video on Weibo.
Many shared comments praising the generosity of the Chinese people.
“Good, good, great!
Thank you to all of you who helped us to raise this great gift to the children,” one commenter said.
Others criticized the Chinese government for the “social disorder” and said that the holiday is “disgraceful.”
Weibo also said that it would provide support for the Chinese holiday for a year.
