A group of archaeologists has uncovered an ancient cemetery at a site in eastern China, the oldest known burial site in the world.
The cemetery is located in a mountainous region, but the site was discovered in a newly dug area near the ancient city of Yanji, which dates to the sixth century BCE.
According to the Xinhua news agency, the cemetery was discovered by two Chinese archaeologists in July, and archaeologists say it is the world’s oldest known cemetery.
Archaeologists are studying the grave, and it is expected to become a tourist attraction, with visitors often being able to walk up to the burial ground to see the burial rituals.
It is the third-oldest known cemetery in China, according to the U.S. National Park Service.
A similar burial site was found at a burial site at an ancient city in the Uighur Autonomous Region of China, which was discovered last year.
The burial site is located at a region known as Yangzi, which includes a region where the Qing Dynasty ruled for nearly 600 years.
It was not immediately clear how many people were buried there, but it is believed to have been a large number of people.
